Refund Policy
This policy explains when and how we refund payments made to Shortlisted (a venture of Gopalsamy Gokulakannan, sole proprietorship). It applies to all programs sold via shortlisted.cc. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
The short version
1. 7-day cooling-off period
You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your payment, with no questions asked, provided you have not consumed material delivery (e.g., received your full assessment report, had more than one strategy session, or had us submit applications on your behalf). Refund is processed within 7 business days to the original payment instrument.
2. Performance-based refund (Done-For-You programs)
For the 90-Day India Program and the 180-Day Global Program, we refund 50% of the fee paid if, at the end of the program window, we have not delivered:
- At least 25 targeted applications at 80%+ match (India) or 60 targeted applications (Global).
- At least 5 recruiter responses by email or LinkedIn.
- At least 2 first-round interviews scheduled.
This benchmark only applies if you have:
- Responded to our intake within 5 business days of payment.
- Approved your resume and target list within 10 business days of payment.
- Attended at least 75% of scheduled weekly check-ins.
- Not paused or unilaterally redefined the role scope mid-program.
3. Pilot programs
30-Day Pilots are pro-rated. If you cancel after Day 7 but before Day 21, we refund 50%. After Day 21, no refund — but the pilot fee is credited toward an upgrade to a 90-Day or 180-Day program for 60 days after pilot end.
4. Career Assessment
Refundable within 48 hours of payment if we have not yet delivered any portion of the report. Once we begin work or deliver the report, no refund (the asset has been transferred).
5. What is not refundable
- Receiving interviews but not converting to offers.
- Receiving offers below your target salary.
- Receiving offers but declining them.
- Delays caused by your non-response, schedule changes you make, or scope changes you request.
- Force majeure events (visa bans, hiring freezes, market collapse).
6. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with subject "Refund request — [your order ID]". We acknowledge within 1 business day. If eligibility is clear, we initiate the refund within 7 business days. If not, we propose a resolution by reply within 5 business days. Funds settle to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after we initiate.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a complaint, talk to us first. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us terminates your access to the program immediately and forfeits any pending deliverables. We will defend our position with Razorpay if no good-faith attempt at resolution was made.
8. Currency and tax
Refunds are issued in Indian Rupees, net of any non-refundable processing fees imposed by the payment processor. GST already remitted to the government on a captured payment is recoverable by us only via our subsequent GST return; we pass on the GST refund to you as part of the refund amount.
