Privacy Notice

This privacy notice describes how Shortlisted (a venture of Gopalsamy Gokulakannan, sole proprietorship) ("Shortlisted", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares your personal data when you use shortlisted.cc, our chat advisor Edi, or our paid programs.

We process your data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India ("DPDP Act") as a Data Fiduciary.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given at the point of starting a chat with Edi or signing up for a program. For payment processing and statutory record-keeping, we rely on the "certain legitimate uses" ground under Section 7 of the DPDP Act.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

5. Cross-border transfers

Some of our processors (e.g., Ollama Cloud, email providers) may store data outside India. We transfer data only where the destination country is not restricted under the DPDP Act, or under a contractual safeguard. By using the service you consent to such transfers.

Shortlisted serves professionals with 3+ years of experience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data of any person under 18.
