Shortlisted is a strategic career acceleration service for senior professionals — built and run by Gopalsamy Gokulakannan ("Gokul"), an operator with twelve years of experience across product, operations and hiring panels.

What we do

We run the job search for senior candidates the way an internal recruiting team would — with daily targeted applications, recruiter outreach, day-three follow-up loops, and weekly strategy calls. Most of our clients are between three and twelve years into their careers and are searching for a better role inside India, or a visa-sponsored role abroad.

Who we are not

• We are not a job board.
• We are not a course or a community.
• We are not a placement agency paid by employers — we work for you, the candidate.
• We do not work with freshers or with people switching across both function and industry simultaneously.

How we make money

We charge candidates directly for our programs. Pricing is published on each program page; founding-tier discounts apply to the first 50 customers per package. We do not take payment, commission or kickback from employers, recruiters or job boards.

The founder

Gokul has spent the past twelve years inside product, operations and hiring panels at companies ranging from early-stage start-ups to global enterprises. Shortlisted started as a side practice in 2025, helping senior peers fix their job searches, and was launched as a public brand in June 2026 once the operating model was proven.
